CORE STABILITY
Core stability helps target those deep muscles within the abdomen, which connect to the hips, spine, and the shoulders. Having good core muscles improves the ability to carry out more advance upper and lower body movements, whilst maintaining the correct posture. Core stability also helps protect the spine and skeletal structure from excessive forces that may be placed on the body during extreme exercise.
We teach clients how to find their neutral spine position and show them how to engage their abdomen through the transversus abdominis and pelvic floor. These techniques will make exercises more effective for the client, enabling them to progress.
